In this investigation, the performance of concrete made with aggregate from concrete specimens is presented. The crushing of the specimens was carried out manually until they were converted into coarse concrete aggregate in the UNI Materials Testing Laboratory. The factors to be taken into consideration for the investigation were: the properties of the recycled aggregate, the substitution percentage of the conventional aggregate by recycled aggregate in the concrete design, the type of granulometry used in the concrete design, the pre saturation of the recycled aggregate prior to concrete mixing, the consistency of fresh concrete, the resistance to compression and bending. To verify the resistance of the recycled concrete, mix designs were made with natural aggregate and recycled aggregate with different substitution percentages for later tests on hardened concrete, compression and bending tests, the experimental results showed that the concrete behavior with aggregate Recycling is similar to that of concrete with natural aggregate up to a certain percentage of substitution beyond which the results vary considerably, indicating that it can be used as a non-structural concrete. The analysis of the most relevant results shows an increase of up to 1000% of absorption of the recycled aggregate over the natural aggregate. Losses of compressive strength when the substitution is 20% of the aggregate, are between 1% and 5%, when the substitution percentage increases to 50% the resistance losses are between 1% and 15% and when the percentage of substitution reaches 100% the resistance losses oscillate between 1% and 25%. The variations of flexural strength when the substitution is 20% of the recycled aggregate increase between 1% - 9%, when the percentage of substitution increases to 50% the resistance decreases between 1% - 8% and when the percentage of Replacement reaches 100% the resistance to bending decreases between 5% and 15%.
