The area is located in the industrial park of Independencia’s district of Lima, Peru. This industrial park presents a great commercial, educational and industrial potential of Lima North. The selection of the area is mainly due to the nearness with Mega Plaza, Senati, USIL, Plaza norte, Pacifico Bridge, station Pacifico of the Metropolitano, future Lima metro station (line 3) and the ceremonial center Pampa de Cueva. CAPACYTEC- center of training art, science and technology, is born of the need to fight the problematic of drug addiction, delinquency, unemployment, desertion of the school system and the lack of centers of training technician for the sectors C, D, and E in north Lima. The project will dedicate to the integral formation and professional and technician who will propitiate the research and innovation in order that the students could learn in a theoretical and practical way. Likewise, in order that the students announce their art and knowledge exposing their works to the public. By means of this way, there is the intention of inserting the students to new labor markets, to improve their quality of life and social situation. The proposal for the urban planning seeks to regenerate and revitalize the principal avenues, like Av. Pacifico and the Av. Industrial, creating avenues, bike lanes and green areas that give a new system of connectivity that would reinforce the existing urban tissue. The architectural proposal presents a contemporary design (conceptualization, rationalism and sustainability) that give a spatial and volumetric integration that generates permeable and flexible spaces.
