Abstract

La Residencia de Estudiantes se ubica en el distrito de Breña, forma parte de un plan Urbano que tiene como finalidad revalorar la arquitectura de valor histórico que tiene el distrito y también el uso de suelo actual, a través de la generación de un eje cultural que atravesara el distrito por el norte, sur este y oeste, creando en su recorrido áreas de recreación, comercio, espacios colectivos y culturales; en mejora del entorno urbano actual. En la zona central de la propuesta urbana, se ubican tres equipamientos, uno de ellos es la Residencia de Estudiantes, que vamos a explicar en el presente estudio. Este edificio se ordena a través de una trama urbana que ha sido planteada para tener como principal usuario al peatón, pues cuenta con calles peatonales, áreas libres y verdes. Además, los estudiantes que residan en el edificio vivirán cerca de las instituciones donde estudian, gracias la ubicación estratégica con la que cuenta la edificación.
