The main objective of this study is to describe the types of motivation that are promoted in the workers of Corp. Chugur Unidos S.R.L. This situation included describing those workers who are intrinsically motivated and those workers who motivate them extrinsically. Other related objectives were to describe the types of intrinsic motivation and the types of extrinsic motivation that energize and direct the behavior of workers in the exercise of their work activities. The proposed design for the present study was non-experimental of the transectional or transverse type; not experimental because the variables were not manipulated; cross-sectional type because the information collected was taken in a single time, 2018, the collection instrument was made up by the researcher and the technique used was the application of a questionnaire through an interview. The population was made up of all workers of the company Chugur Unidos S.R.L. of the Tantahuatay mine, Cía. Coimolache S.A. The results of the study indicated that workers of Corp. Chugur Unidos S.R.L., of the 85 respondents, 81.4 percent are intrinsically motivated while performing their activities at work, while 50 percent of workers are extrinsically motivated. The 75.3 percent of the workers of Corp. Chugur United S.R.L. they feel that their talents are in line with the challenges of work, placing themselves in the opium flow zone (motivator of competence) and 92.9 percent do the work in a self-determined way (motivator of autonomy). This research (motivation) is presented as an initial effort and a starting point to undertake major changes in the administrative philosophy that currently prevails in the mining sector, create an environment in which workers make use of their talents (motivator of competition) according to the challenges that emanate from the world, trust in themselves (motivating autonomy), act without fears (cognitions) and generate results that contribute to society.
