The present work consists of a petrographic and lithogeochemical characterization of four porphyries, each one representing different magmatic belts in time: Jurassic, Paleocene and Miocene (Chipispaya porphyry, dated in 22 My.), and to date there are few studies conducted on these porphyries with the detail made in the present job. The regional parent igneous units, that is, the precursor magmatism of each porphyry, were identified, which each one are spatial and temporally vinculated to the Tia Maria and La Tapada porphyries (Punta Coles superunit, around 145 My). Los Calatos, Cuajone, Quellaveco y Toquepala (Yarabamba superunit, around 60-55 My.) and Chipispaya (Challaviento superunit, Tacaza Group, around 25-20 My.) and characterized at the regional level using databases compiled by different authors. In turn, samples were taken from each porphyry and the associated igneous rocks, with the purpose of comparing their lithogeochemical characteristics with those of the respective regional parent magmatism and identifying the most salient differences in comparison with them in order to develop explanations and models based on in petrography and lithogeochemical diagrams additionally designed based on petrogenetic criteria. From the studies carried out, it was observed that, as has been proposed for other porphyritic systems, it is the mineralogical and lithogeochemical indicators of hydrated magmas that distinguish notably the porphyry samples with respect to their respective parent magmatism. At the same time, using different bivariate diagrams in order to have a greater detail and make a distinction between the systems, we observed that the Jurassic porphyry (Tía María and La Tapada) present a greater control of the hydration and oxidation of the magma with respect to the Paleocene and Miocene porphyries. In addition, Tía María is distinguished from La Tapada in that the lithogeochemical parameters indicate a very primitive magmatism for La Tapada as well as greater affinity to Au and higher content of chlorinated volatiles (Martinez et al., 2017a). The Paleocene porphyries present oxidized and wet magmatism but to a lesser degree than the Jurassic, however the greater cortical thickness favors the differentiation in reservoirs of the upper crust. The Paleocene porphyry of Los Calatos differs from the Cuajone-Quellaveco-Toquepala Cluster in that it is located at a shorter distance from the trench (approximately 15 km) and also in that it has less control of differentiation and / or cortical contamination and has a greater influence of the metasomatism of the underside asthenospheric wedge. The magmatism of the Challaviento Superunity shows a marked decrease in favorable parameters for fertile magmas, while the Tacaza Group shows a progressive rejuvenation of these parameters until the development of the Miocene Chipispaya porphyry, which is at the extreme end of the Group's differentiation Tacaza, in regard to its variation with the distance to the trench in time, as well as the Tía María-La Tapada Jurassic porphyry and the Paleocene Cuajone-Quellaveco-Toquepala porphyries are at the extreme end of their igneous parental units-Punta Coles and Yarabamba, respectively.
