Due to industrialization and the growth of the automotive field, the demand for fossil fuels increased enormously. In recent years, biodiesel has become an alternative fuel thanks to its favorable effect on the ecological parameters of the engine, such as emissions. The present work of investigation evaluates the effect of the biodiesel of used oil of frying using three types of mixes D100 + RND (pure Diesel and biodiesel of the valve RND), DB5 + RND (commercial Diesel and biodiesel of the RND valve) and DB10 ( pure Diesel with 10% biodiesel) on the characteristics of performance and emissions. D100 pure Diesel was used as a reference for comparison of the characteristics mentioned above. The experiments were carried out using a Perkins Model C4.236V four-cylinder Diesel engine, to which the RND valves were incorporated for each cylinder in the high-pressure line to form the D100+RND and DB5+RND mixtures during engine operation Diesel Perkins. The DB10 mixture was prepared by adding 10% biodiesel from used oil of frying by volume to the pure Diesel fuel. The experimental results show that the use of biodiesel from used frying oil supplied by the RND valve, shows its effectiveness by reducing the opacity and toxicity of the gases of polluting effect on the engine to regimes greater than 1800 rpm with full load of the engine, thus improving the ecological indicators of Diesel engines.
