The main objective of this research work is to evaluate the performance of the breur’s ram pump build with materials easily obtained in the Peruvian market. To carry out the study, a pilot system was used with ideal conditions for a better development of hydraulic tests. The main variable of study was the number of impulsion valves, 1, 2 and 3 of these were taken into account. In addition, different lengths of feed pipe were also used which were 4.00, 5.00 and 6.00 meters; and finally, three different sizes of the pressure chamber (hose) 0.50, 1.00 and 1.50 meters long were taken into account. In each of the pumping tests carried out, the values of outlet press ure, amount of water pumped and amount of feed water were measured; with which then with a spreadsheet help the performance values were determined in each of the configurations made to the pump. As a result, it was found that the efficiency increased as im pulsion valves were added. W hile the length of the feed pipe and the size of the pressure chamber was not significantly improved. However, the increase in the length of the feed pipe had a direct impact on the maximum performance flow, the maximum performance height and the maximum pumping height, obtaining the highest values for a length of 6.00 meters. On the other hand, the length of the pressure chamber did not represent a significant change in any feature measured or calculated during the experiment. The maximum efficiency obtained was 66.40% for a ram pump configuration with 3 impulsion valves, 4.00 meters of supply pipe and 0.50 meters of pressure chamber. W ith which it has like discharge of maximum performance 1028.80 L / day, height of maxim um performance of 12.77 meters and maximum height of pumping of 20.52 meters.
