Currently, the focus of the mining business for a contractor company is oriented to know and understand more and more customers' needs. Motivated by this vision, the company Exsa S.A., made a commitment and proposed to Minera La Zanja (MLZ) to be able to carry out tests with diverse emulsions in bulk and to be able to show the benefits of these, in order to contribute to generate value in the processes downstream of the productive cycle. Exsa S.A. under its vision of focus on the customer and assuming this commitment, had at its disposal qualified personnel (supervisors and operators) and a bulk truck of 13 Ton capacity, and also made available a range of products at the technological forefront, which account with Slurrex G emulsion and Slurrex TCG emulsion, the latter being the one that completely mitigates the presence of foul odors generat the blasting process. In view of this, on October 15, 2016, the company Exsa S.A. started the partial loading of the blasting projects of MLZ with its respective product and from November 1st, 2016, assumed the total load of blasting projects, having as final date February 17, 2017; assuming a commitment with MLZ, the commitment to provide a gasified emulsion that would minimize the post-blasting effects, which are the foul odors; and in this way would add value to MLZ operations. In the present thesis I will show the work that was done throughout this process and several indicators that were obtained, among them, the measurement of post-blasting gases.
