In Peru, currently the electricity distribution regulatory model does not promote the rational use of energy and electricity distribution companies apply energy efficiency programs is therefore a need to implement economic incentives in electricity distribution tariffs to promote the energy efficiency. To achieve this aim it has been develops a model of Data Surrounded Analysis based on the Border Efficiency theory to measure the performance of the distribution companies tace the economic incentives developed for electric power and the obligation to invest 1 % of net sales, moreover, the impact thereof on electricity distribution tariffs under the current model for calculating the value added distribution was evaluated. The results show that it is feasible to apply economic incentives to the electricity distribution tariffs to promote the energy efficiency. lndependently of the level of goals set by the regulator, the scheme of White Certificates presents the highest values in the efficiency ratio of the distributors and less impact on the distribution tariffs so its implementation is highly feasible, in second place would be decoupling between revenue and ultimately would be the required to invest 1 % of sales, which has a high impact on the distribution tariffs.
