In this research an Anaerobic Filters Reactors using a plastic medium was studied. This medium consisted of polyethylene terephthalate. For the control of temperature the technology of vacuum tubes heat collectors was used. Temperatures varied in the range from 20°C to 35°C. It is noteworthy that in winter period (July to September 2015) it was feeling warm because the “El Niño” a weather phenomenon anticipated, appreciating cloudy days and sunny days despite the winter season, with a minimum weather temperature of 18°C versus 18.5° C reached by liquid in the system. The best removal efficiency percentage found for BOD5 was 88.8% for the filter 1 in week 20 and COD was 62.5% in week 21, but including a detailed explanation in Chapter VI of conclusions.
