La interacción de la arquitectura empresarial y el ciclo de vida de un sistema empresarial en una empresa comercial

Abstract

Los sistemas empresariales han experimentado una gran acogida por parte del sector empresarial, cada vez hay más implementaciones realizadas. Si bien es cierto que este tipo de sistemas ofrecen muchos beneficios, hay cierta complejidad alrededor de la gestión de su ciclo de vida y es difícil asegurar que se obtendrá el máximo valor posible de ellos, o que se conseguirá implementarlos con éxito. Durante el desarrollo de la investigación se buscó determinar la interacción de la arquitectura empresarial y el ciclo de vida de un sistema empresarial, para dar un aporte que pueda facilitar la implementación de estas soluciones en las empresas. Se realizó la selección de un modelo de ciclo de vida de los sistemas empresariales y un marco de arquitectura empresarial. Luego se diseñó una arquitectura empresarial sencilla y basado en ésta se analizó la interacción con el ciclo de vida del sistema empresarial, se identificaron y analizaron las relaciones entre ambos modelos. Se encontró que la arquitectura empresarial se interrelaciona con el ciclo de vida de un sistema empresarial en diferente medida a través de las distintas etapas que comprende el ciclo. En una mayor medida en las etapas de planificación y selección, relacionadas a temas estratégicos, y en menor efecto en el desarrollo e implementación, orientadas a labores operativas de la puesta en marcha del sistema, y en menor medida en el mantenimiento. Enterprise Systems have experienced a great reception from the business sector, there are more and more implementations. While it is true that these systems offer many benefits, there is some complexity around managing their life cycle and it is difficult to ensure that the enterprises will obtain the maximum possible value of them or that they will get successfully implementations. During the course of the investigation, the objective was to determine the interaction of enterprise architecture and the life cycle of a business system, in order to give a contribution that can facilitate the implementation of these solutions in enterprises. The first step was to select a life cycle model of business systems and an enterprise architecture framework. Then, a simple enterprise architecture was designed and it was used as a base to analyze the interaction with the life cycle of the enterprise system. Finally, the relations between the two models were identified and analyzed. The most important finding was that enterprise architecture is related to the life cycle of a business system in different degrees through the various stages comprising the cycle. To a greater extent in the planning stages and selection, related to strategic issues, and to a lesser effect on the development and implementation, geared to operational work of the implementation of the system, and finally to a lesser extent in maintenance.
