Behavioral safety is a management tool that is gaining progressively more scope within organizations often adopt different methodology classes by assigning small variations of this form as their own; however, there are clear references to the evaluation of the results of this tool and implemented in a period of time, and especially with reference to the project. The present research analyzes the performance of a behavioral safety program applied to an engineering project in mining; we will use the program that uses the mining company for all its contractors. Considering the special conditions involved in the behavior of people and the time needed to implement a behavioral safety program. We consider it necessary to conduct a study of a behavioral safety program over a period of time to have an expectation of results throughout your application, thereby complementing also know the most appropriate prevention strategies actions and to improve and find the safest contractors within the mining companies performers environment. In this research study, we take as basis the project “220KV Transmission Line Sub Station Vizcarra“. Key words: behavioral safety, management, efficiency, prevention, program environment.
