According to MEM between 2000 and 2013 there have been 837 fatal accidents en the mining industry, these 34 % (285) corresponds to accidents by rock loosening. Enough for professionals in mining engineering leading-edge scientific techniques applied to reduce the damage caused mainly by rock blasting and in this way create work areas more stable and safe for workers right. In this paper explains the vibrations theory generated by rock blasting in an underground mine. Field measurements will be made with vibrations equipment to determine the attenuation laws that governing each study area. With the values of the constants of the rock mass for each type of used explosive will be made mathematical models that will simulate us the damage in close areas to the excavation and they will determine the level of critical damage after blasting. Our vibrations study will allow us to redesign the mesh drilling and blasting parameters for each rock type, taking particular emphasis on the design contour blasting. Our results will be compared with the vibrations study of the year 2012, which we will take it as the baseline study.
