This work is based on the field of physicochemistry, particularly focusing in the area in between electrochemistry and material science. The preparation of the base electrodes that was carried out, focused mainly on disk electrodes and glassy carbon rods, coated with layers of polymers, such as modified polyanilines, obtained electrochemically, by copolymerization of monomers aniline and substituted anilines, for a study of the oxidation of ascorbic acid by the use of a rotating electrode technique, whereby an approved model for polyaniline-type polymers was established, to determine characteristics of the materials obtained with these polymeric substrates, like glassy carbon, which allows the geometric area to come clase to the electrode's area, due to the pretreatment, which can be performed on this type of electrode. At work, details were given regarding the treatment that was carried out to obtain a flat and specular surface, which allowed for an orderly growth of the polymer, making it the best surface to grow the polymer for kinetic studies that were carried out. Details were given concerning the conditions under which the collection of the copolymers type electrochemical polyaniline were made, PANl-co-ABA copolymer obtained by polymerization of the aniline monomers 2-aminobenzoic acid copolymer and PANl-co-ABSA, copolymer obtained by polymerization of aniline monomers of 2-aminobencensulfonico. Then characterisation of the polymer layer of these electrodes prepared by cyclic voltammetry was carried out, by using FTIR in situ, Raman in situ, UV-Visible in situ, XPS. The modified electrodes were characterised using ascorbic acid as a probe, by using the oxidation of this analyte, which was studied by using the rotating electrode technique, such oxidation was studied by the mechanism proposed by Michaelis-Menten, through which it is possible to study the behavior of the electrode regarding this oxidation and extrapolate the behavior of the electrode, which could be used to determine the characteristics of the material obtained. In addition, the electrode was characterized by a study of the variation in pH of the electrolyte solution, which is characterized by low-speed cyclic voltammetry to characterize the pKa of the polymer structures involved in the electronic transfer. Also, a study was carried out to determine the conductivity of the electrode site, which together with the previous study makes it possible to determine the structure responsible for conductivity of polymer structures.
