The alarm processing is a problem that occurs in the control centers of the electrical distribution companies. The complexity of the electricity industry in their systems of generation, transmission and distribution make the alarm processing a problem which is even more complicated when different systems are interconnected in the way is the Peruvian electrical system. Also, the response to alarm management has become even more complex due to the progressive use in control centers of software applications increasingly specialized, which rather than help system operators, filled them with so much information on which must not exert any action, or they are saturated with information in short periods of that manner the operators can not manage efficiently, they subject to undue stress and this situation affect the working environment in the operations areas of different companies. The use of expert systems, neural networks, high-level programming languages, Bayesian networks, decision theory and algorithms and hybrid neuro-fuzzy, are some of the proposed solutions. This research presents a new methodology for massive alarm management in electricity control centers; the research line is based on the use of Artificial intelligence and Fuzzy Expert Systems. This proposal focuses on the analysis of the psychological model for alarm processing, state of operation that occur at any instant of electrical systems, operation process of the network control centers and the technology involved in the alarms reception and transmission alarms in modern telecontrol systems. Subsequently making the information integration available in control centers so that the solution to process alarms take into account both personnel responsible for analyzing the alarms as entities that affect their management.
