This study entitled “The gravitational theory and application to the economy indication of Ayacucho, Junín, Lima Region Case 1981-2010“ is a further implementation of the Law of Gravitation Physics proposed in 1666 by Sir Isaac Newton to the dynamics of the economy in a the globalization of economic transactions, commonly known as globalization, where transnational corporations are increasingly widening their investments according to criteria of location, agglomeration and concentration in the peripheral markets and thereby increase their rates of profit, thus setting new global economic geography, which is calling into question the models of development and conventional strategies to eradicate poverty, marginalization and social exclusion, and the state's role on the redistribution or expansion of the fruits of economic, scientific and cultural humanity is achieving in the last three decades of the XXI century new millennium. Faced with this reality, we have considered relevant evidence of the theoretical arguments, methodological and procedural guidelines for the application of the gravity model with constraints (assumptions) that it faces, to interpret the economic dynamics of the Central Region of the country and particularly in the cities of Lima, Ayacucho and Huancayo, Junín, region, and how the distance factor, time and speed between the centers of production and consumption may influence their growth or expansion of their economies. However, in this part should highlight the questioning that the advance of information technology and communication are revolutionizing the traditional concept of “region“ (equivalent to our case sub-national space) to be merely a physical space production, location, to a network and information and accumulation of cognitive abilities, in which the distance factor is a concept increasingly ideal and less conventional. Finally, we aim with this study demonstrate the need to develop new indicators of alternative measurement of economic aggregates social accounting, such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and National Income for the purposes of sub-national economic policy design, since its nature “aggregative“ and “seasonal“ - ie indicators obtained from a sample in a given period - do not allow us to interpret with certainty the national reality, all in the context of a suggested process of state reform and the re-institutionalization of the planning function National Development with long-term vision.
