The objective of this research was to assess the lethal effect of copper sulphate in an acute bioassay static, with three replicates, on common Carp fingerlings Cyprinus carpio after 96 hours of exposure, carried out from September 15 to October 10, 2014. The Carp were donated from the fisheries station of Santa Eulalia and the bioassay was performed in the same season before mentioned, belonging to the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal (UNFV). He first worked with wide of contaminant concentration ranges, to then establish more specific ranges. The final result of the test was a lethal median concentration LC50 of 0,986 ppm copper. Further analyses were performed the concentration of copper in the muscle of common carp by the method of atomic absorption, which gave the following results: for 0.6 ppm was 5,10 mg/kg, for 0.8 ppm 5,12 mg/kg and for 1 ppm 5,29 mg/kg, in each case analyses were performed in the ten Carp exposed. Keys Words: Bioassay, Copper sulphate, Lethal Median concentration (CL50)
