Inversión en educación universitaria y su influencia en el rendimiento académico, Lima, 2006-2010

Abstract

El estudio de investigación se realizó con el propósito de conocer cuál es real impacto que tienen las inversiones de las Universidades Públicas (UP) en el Rendimiento Académico (RA). Se determinó el grado de incidencia de las inversiones en la educación universitaria dentro del marco del SNIP sobre los RA promedio de las facultades de las UP. Se obtuvo datos secundarios del SNIP en el rubro de Educación Universitaria, y se desagregó en los componentes infraestructura, equipamiento, mobiliario, y capacitación docente. Por lo complejo del tema también se realizó una evaluación con una adaptación de la metodología de Disposición A Pagar, pero haciendo un análisis de su Disposición a Rendir Académicamente (DARA) y poder conocer mediante esta metodología la valoración que le dan los directamente beneficiados. Los datos de la investigación fueron primarios y se utilizó como instrumento la encuesta. Esta investigación arrojó que las inversiones tienen un nivel de significancia del 25.7 % deduciendo que no existe correlación fuerte pero entendiendo que el RA tiene múltiples variables que influyen en ella; asimismo se aprecia que existe una predisposición a no invertir en investigación y capacitación de docentes estos dos han resultado en los de mayor incidencia en el resultado. Esto último coincide con el estudio sobre la DARA, y que arroja como resultados que los alumnos están dispuestos a mejorar su RA (87%).

The investigation was realized with propose know the real impact obtained by the investment of Public Universities (PU) at the academic achievement (AA). It was determinate the degree impact of investments into university education at the context of SNIP over the mean AA at faculties of PU and had taken secondary dates of SNIP in the category: infrastructure, equipment, furniture and training. By the complex theme, it was realized an adaptation of Disposition to Pay Methodology, but doing one analysis of Disposition to Achieve Academically (DAA) and can to know by means of this methodology the valuation of the directly beneficiaries. The investigation dates were primaries and have utilized one survey as instrument. This investigation results had give that investments have a low level significance of 25.3% and deducting not exist a strong correlation but understanding that AA have multiplies variables that influence in it; at the same way we appreciated that does not exist a predisposition to investment in investigation technologies and teacher´s capacitating but both have obtained the major incidence at the results.
