The Alberto Sabogal Sologuren Hospital, part of EsSalud, faces challenges in its control of staff attendance. The hierarchical structure shared with other health centers of the Sabogal Benefit Network reflects a positive response to its environment, although areas for improvement are identified, such as collaboration between public and private health centers. The central problem addressed is the identification of absenteeism through attendance control, which is hindered by the presence of two types of records, an unequal distribution of workers to be controlled, delays in the delivery of documents and in the receipt of biometric records, as well as delays in the delivery of reports. The improvement proposal seeks to optimize attendance control to obtain accurate information on absenteeism from work. Although there is evidence of commitment in the improvement process, its conclusion is still pending. This initiative is based on the need to align the hospital's actions with its strategic objectives and improve human resources management in the organization.
