The general objective was to determine potential drug interactions and prevalence in prescriptions for COVID 19 patients attended in chain pharmacies. Huancayo - 2021. The method used was inductive, the type applied. descriptive level; non-experimental and cross-sectional design, the sample was 187 prescriptions which constitutes a part of the population of the pharmacy chains 2021. Results: the age group was more numerous +61 years and male sex. Conclusions: The prevalence of potential drug interactions of prescription for COVID 19 patients attended in pharmacy chains. were found with the highest interaction with Azithromycin, Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid, Enoxaparin, Dexamethasone, Levofloxacin, Prednisone, Acetylsalicylic Acid and Ciprofloxacin
