The aim of the study was to determine which therapeutic factors influence adherence to ferrous sulfate in pregnant women with anemia at the Vegueta 2021 Health Center. The methodology was basic with a non-experimental design and a descriptive, transversal level, with a sample of 110 pregnant women. Results show that the personal factors with the highest prevalence according to maternal age are between 26-35 years in 44.7%, according to the most common marital status was cohabitant with 56.47%, in relation to the degree of education was 54.12% high school level, 30.59% did not understand the counseling. Regarding the most predominant reason was forgetting to take ferrous sulfate with 69.41%, among the most frequent discomfort was nausea 45.9%, constipation 41.2%, in relation to the knowledge of the intake of ferrous sulfate with a citrus fruit 64.71% answered yes, regarding home visits after starting treatment 74.12% did receive visits and 25.88% did not receive them
