Nivel de conocimiento y prácticas ante la fluorosis dental en cirujanos Dentistas, Callao 2022

Abstract

El propósito de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación entre nivel de conocimiento y prácticas ante la fluorosis dental en cirujanos dentistas, Callao 2022. El tipo de investigación fue correlacional, descriptivo y transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 120 cirujanos del Callao. Nuestros resultados reportan que El 42,5% tienen nivel malo en conocimiento sobre flúor; el 42,5% tienen nivel malo en conocimiento sobre flúor; el 17.5% tienen nivel bueno en conocimiento sobre flúor. El 20% tienen nivel malo en prácticas sobre flúor y edad de 20 a 30 años; el 30% tienen nivel regular en prácticas sobre flúor y edad de 31 a 40 años. Conclusión: Existe relación entre nivel de conocimiento y prácticas ante la fluorosis dental en cirujanos dentistas, Callao 2022.

The purpose of the present study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practices in dental fluorosis in dental surgeons, Callao 2022. The type of research was correlational, descriptive and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 120 surgeons from Callao. Our results report that 42.5% have a poor level of knowledge about fluoride; 42.5% have a poor level of knowledge about fluoride; 17.5% have a good level of knowledge about fluoride. 20% have a poor level in fluoride practices and age from 20 to 30 years; 30% have a fair level in fluoride practices and age from 31 to 40 years. Conclusion: There is a relationship between level of knowledge and practices regarding dental fluorosis in dental surgeons, Callao 2022.
