The research is descriptive as a quasi-experimental methodological design. The objective of the research was to evaluate the concentration of cadmium and lead in fifteen samples of orange juice sold formally and informally in the city of Huaral. As a result of the analysis we obtained that the levels of cadmium found in the average orange juice samples were 0.046 mg/kg, a minimum value of 0.025 and a maximum value of 0.087. The levels of lead found in the average sample were 0.27 mg/kg, a minimum value of 0.12 and a maximum value of 0.42. According to the results it was concluded that the levels of cadmium do not exceed the maximum permissible limit established by CODEX ALIMENTARIUS, as for the level of lead concentration it exceeds the maximum permissible limit
