The objective of the following research is to determine the most frequent position of mandibular third molars according to Winter of a Military Health Center, Ayacucho 2022. The study was of basic type and the methodological design used was non-experimental, descriptive, transversal and prospective. A total of 100 panoramic radiographic plates were used. Among the results it was found that of the 100.0% of the third mandibular molar positions analyzed in quadrants III and IV of the 81 patients, 58.0% of the positions were mainly mesioangular. It was concluded that the most frequent position was mesioangular and more frequently in quadrant III.
