Salud bucodental y calidad de vida en pacientes del centro de salud de Santa Rosa de Ocopa, 2023.

Abstract

El objetivo general de este estudio fue determinar la relación entre salud bucodental y la calidad de vida en los pacientes que asistieron al Centro de Salud Santa Rosa de Ocopa en el año 2023, el método fue observacional, no experimental, correlacional y de corte transversal, la muestra de estudio estuvo compuesta por 123 pacientes. Los resultados revelaron que el nivel de salud bucodental de los pacientes fue de nivel regular (55,6%) y nivel malo (27,1%). En cuanto al nivel de calidad de vida oral, un porcentaje significativo del grupo (84,9%) informó haber experimentado un impacto en su calidad de vida debido a problemas bucodentales, mientras que un (15,1%) no experimentó ningún impacto, en conclusión, este estudio demuestra que existe una relación significativa entre salud bucodental y calidad de vida, siendo este último un factor clave para mejorar la calidad de vida.

The general objective of this study was to determine the relationship between oral health and quality of life in patients attending the Santa Rosa de Ocopa Health Center in the year 2023, the method was observational, non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional, the study sample consisted of 123 patients. The results revealed that the level of oral health of the patients was fair (55.6%) and poor (27.1%). Regarding the level of oral quality of life, a significant percentage of the group (84.9%) reported having experienced an impact on their quality of life due to oral problems, while (15.1%) did not experience any impact, in conclusion, this study shows that there is a significant relationship between oral health and quality of life, the latter being a key factor to improve quality of life.
