The present research paper entitled. Clinical Assessment of the Elderly (VACAM) by the health professional of the Chupuro Huancayo 2019 health post. The objective was to identify the clinical assessment of the elderly (VACAM) by the health professional of the health post Chupuro Huancayo 2019. Being the study variable clinical assessment of the elderly and considering within it the following topics: their functional assessment, mental assessment of their cognitive status, mental assessment of their emotional status and social-family assessment... The results were from the total of 30(100%) older adults assessed, 28(93.3%) are independent, 2(6.7%) are partially dependent and no older adults were found to be totally dependent, 13(43.3%) are normal, 16(53.3%) have mild cognitive impairment, 1 (3). 3%) have moderate cognitive impairment and no older adults were found to have severe cognitive impairment, 10(33.3%) have no depressive manifestations and 20(66.7%) have depressive manifestations and 8(26.7%) have good/acceptable social status, 16(53.3%) have social risk and 6(20%) have social problem. Conclusion was identified on the evaluation (VACAM) by the professional of the health post Chupuro Huancayo 2019, that 17(56.7%) present a healthy evaluation, 9(30.0%) present a fragile evaluation and 4(13.3%) present a sick evaluation, not finding any elderly as complex geriatric
