The current research has the following purpose. To establish the antimicrobial result of the wet compendium of tarwi (Chocho) seeds against the microbe Escherichia coli ATCC 8739 (bacteria living in the intestine), in Junín-Huancayo 2021. Methodology The research model is quasi-experimental, since the antimicrobial result of the tarwi (lupine) watery compendium will be evaluated with respect to the Escherichia coli ATCC 8739 bacterium. The research included the study of the dissolution of the dry extract, phytochemical screening, thin layer chromatography and to evaluate the antimicrobial action, the agar propagation procedure (plate digging) was used. Solutions were prepared at densities of 20%, 30% and 40%. Results. The laboratory results indicate that in the tarwi (lupine) seed compendium, there is a high presence of alkaloids (+++) (secondary metabolites of vegetables that are compendiated by amino acids), amino acids (+++) and flavonoids (++).
