Informal mining in these regions affects all the people living in the surrounding areas; therefore, the OBJECTIVE of this study was to determine the concentration of heavy metals (Hg, As, Pb and Cd) in milk and water of the Santa Eulalia Valley 2020 basin, being the METHODOLOGY, descriptive, non-probabilistic sampling by convenience; the method was EPA by atomic absorption spectrophotometry-flame; the sample is five for cow's milk and for water. RESULTS, that the concentrations of mercury in milk and water, and arsenic in milk, exceeded the limits allowed for human consumption; CONCLUDING, that the concentration of heavy metals in milk and water at least one of the metals exceeds the limits allowed for human consumption
