The research is of an applicative type with an experimental methodological design. The objective of the research was to determine the in-vitro antibacterial effect of the extracts of Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) and Mentha spicata (good herb) on Escherichia coli. Samples were obtained from the city of Ferreñafe and underwent an extraction process using the percolation method. The results using the Kirby Bauer method were that 100% of the Rosmarinus officinalis extract has high sensitivity against E. coli strains and 100% of Mentha spicata has medium sensitivity. The conclusion of the research was that there is a high sensitivity of the ethanolic extract of Rosmarinus officinalis and a medium sensitivity of the extract of Mentha spicata on Escherichia coli strains
