The objective of the following research is to determine the in vitro antibacterial effect of the essential oil of the Rosemary plant (Rosmarinus officinalis) against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The method used was observational, prospective, transversal, in vitro experimental design, the sample consisted of Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), the vapor entrainment technique was used to obtain the essential oil and the well diffusion technique for the microbiological evaluation, in the results different tables are presented according to the concentrations of the essential oil of the Rosemary plant (Rosmarinus officinalis). In conclusion, the essential oil of the Rosemary plant (Rosmarinus officinalis) has an antibacterial effect against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas" aeruginosa.
