To determine the relationship between biochemical parameters and nutritional status according to body mass index in patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, Huancayo 2022. Methodology The present study was based on the scientific method and had a quantitative approach, according to the number of measurements of the variables it was a "Transversal" study, it had a "Non-experimental" design and consisted of 97 patients. As results, 84.5% of the patients with CKD presented nutritional status according to BMI within the normal range, compared to 4.1% with acceptable thinness, 2.1% with moderate thinness, 1% with severe thinness compared to 6.2% who presented overweight and 2.1% with obesity. In conclusion, 38.14% of the patients presented mild anemia, followed by 27.84% with moderate anemia and 3.09% with severe anemia. A 36.08% of the patients presented hypophosphatemia (low percentage of phosphorus). A total of 69.07% of the patients had elevated serum potassium levels (hyperkalemia).
