The main objective of this research study is to determine the factors and adverse reactions associated with self-medication with anti-inflammatory drugs in the elderly of the AA. HH. Justicia Paz y Vida. Huancayo - 2021. Methodology: Descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional type and design of research. Population investigated was 350 older adults and the sample was 187 sampling units. Conclusions: The factors associated with self-medication with anti-inflammatory drugs in the elderly were found the oldest age group interviewed were those aged 65-70 years, the insurance prevails SIS. Anti-inflammatory drugs frequently consumed in steroids was Dexamethasone in 49.2 %, non-steroids were found to Acetaminophen (Paracetamol). The associated adverse reactions. Type B was 44.4 %, and for case A it was 55.6 %.
