Objective: The present study aims to determine the prevalence according to the levels of depression, stress, and anxiety in nursing interns during post-pandemic clinical internships in a hospital in Lima-North 2023. Materials and methods: The present study has a quantitative approach and the methodological design is descriptive and cross-sectional. The population consisted of nursing interns from national and private universities. The sample was 74 participants. The technique used in the study was the survey and the data collection instrument was the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21), which consists of 21 items and 4 Likert-type response alternatives. Results: Regarding the description of the levels of depression, stress, and anxiety, the nursing interns present a higher percentage in the moderate level. In the depression variable, the interns are classified as not present (32,4%) and moderate level (32,4%). Likewise, for stress, it is classified with greater frequency in the severe level 43,2% and moderate 39,2%, finally, it is observed that 51,4% present moderate anxiety. Conclusions: A greater prevalence in the levels of depression was shown, evidencing that a large percentage of nursing interns present moderate levels, moderate levels of stress and anxiety. This allows us to conclude that the mental health of the inmates is considerably affected, according to the levels of depression, anxiety, and stress they present.
