Abstract The main objective of this research work is to determine the relationship between multiple intelligences and meaningful learning in primary school students. The focus of this study is quantitative, non-experimental and correlational descriptive level. The sample consists of 71 students from third to sixth grade of primary school. To collect the data in the investigation the following instruments were considered: test of multiple intelligences (adapted version), whose validity was ,60 and reliability was ,88; and the Cervantes meaningful learning questionnaire (2013), whose validity was ,76 and reliability was ,81. Data processing was carried out with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. After performing the descriptive analysis of the variables and their correlation, the following results were obtained: on a general scale of multiple intelligences, students presented an average of 3.9 placing them in the category "almost always" and of significant learning 3.1 placing itself in the category "many times". Finally, a positive, strong and significant relationship was found between multiple intelligences and significant learning (r =,51**).
