Objective: To assess the biosecurity measures applied in clinical practices by nursing students at a university in Lima Norte 2023. Materials and Methods: A quantitative approach with a descriptive and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 107 students. The applied instrument was a questionnaire validated by expert judges, consisting of 27 items grouped into three dimensions. Results: It was found that 62.6% had a high level of biosecurity measures knowledge, 35.5% had a medium level, and 1.9% had a low level. Based on each of the dimensions, it was observed that in the basic aspects dimension, 72% had a high level. In the dimensions of protective barriers, there were medium to high levels (45.3% and 43.9%), and in the dimension of waste disposal, there were medium to high levels (50.5% and 42.1%). In the frequency analysis of the items, most students scored over 70% correct responses. The inferential analysis found that the items: duration of clinical handwashing (sig=0.49), purpose of wearing an apron (sig=0.049), and purpose of wearing a mask (0.022) had significant associations with the study cycle (sig <0.05). Conclusions: The students show a high to medium level of knowledge about biosecurity. Regarding each dimension, the medium to high level predominated. In the analysis of respond frequencies, the majority achieved a high percentage of correct answers. There were found significant associations with three items, attributing them to training on biosecurity measures.
