Abstract: La disciplina escolar es una herramienta indispensable para fortalecer el desarrollo ciudadano y consciente de las personas, es decir, desarrollar competencias actitudinales, en ese sentido, se estudió la correlación entre ambas variables con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre la disciplina escolar y las competencias actitudinales y cómo una repercute en la otra. El estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo correlacional y de nivel exploratorio. Se realizó un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia a una muestra de 45 estudiantes de 4.º, 5.º y 6.º grado de primaria (M=28/ F=17) de una Institución Educativa Privada (Perú). En el presente estudio se utilizaron encuestas sobre competencias actitudinales con una validez de 0. y confiabilidad, además de una encuesta sobre disciplina escolar con una validez de y confiabilidad, ambas validadas por juicio de expertos. En los resultados obtenidos, se determinó que las dimensiones Resiliencia, Proactividad y Superación Personal se relacionaron fuerte, significativamente y positivamente con la disciplina escolar. En ese sentido, se concluyó que la disciplina escolar influye significativamente en el desarrollo de competencias actitudinales.
School discipline is an indispensable tool to strengthen the citizen and conscious development of people, that is, to develop attitudinal competencies. In this sense, the correlation between both variables was studied with the objective of determining the relationship between school discipline and competencies. attitudes and how one affects the other. In the results obtained, it was determined that the dimensions Resilience, Proactivity and Personal Improvement were strongly, significantly and positively related to school discipline. In this sense, it was concluded that school discipline significantly influences the development of attitudinal competencies.
