School discipline is an indispensable tool to strengthen the citizen and conscious development of people, that is, to develop attitudinal competencies. In this sense, the correlation between both variables was studied with the objective of determining the relationship between school discipline and competencies. attitudes and how one affects the other. The study had a quantitative approach, correlational type and exploratory level, a non-probabilistic convenience sampling was carried out on a sample of 45 students from 4th, 5th and 6th grade of primary school (M=28/ F=17) from an Institution Private Educational (Perú). In the present study, surveys on attitudinal competencies with a validity of 0 and reliability were used, in addition to a survey on school discipline with a validity of and reliability, both validated by expert judgment. In the results obtained, it was determined that the dimensions Resilience, Proactivity and Personal Improvement were strongly, significantly and positively related to school discipline. In this sense, it was concluded that school discipline significantly influences the development of attitudinal competencies.
