Objective: To identify family functionality in households with adolescents residing at the Laderas de Chillón Human Settlement in Puente Piedra – 2022. Materials and methods: This is a quantitative approach research, with a descriptive, cross-sectional and non-experimental methodological design. The data collection technique was the survey and the instrument used for this study was the FACES IV questionnaire of family functionality, which is made up of 42 items. Results: Regarding family functionality in households with adolescents, functional family predominated with 72.29% (n=253), followed by very functional family with 14.86% (n=52) and slightly functional family with 12.86% (n=45). As for the sub-dimensions, the low level predominated in the detached family home with 38.86% (n=136), the connected level predominated in balanced cohesion with 56.57% (n=198), the low level predominated in tangled with 43.71% (n=153) and in rigid with 37.43% (n=131), the flexible level predominated in flexibility with 54.57% (n=191) and finally, the low level predominated in chaotic with 40,86 (n=143). Conclusions: Regarding family functionality in households with adolescents, the functional family predominated, followed by the very functional family and the slightly functional family.
