Objective: To determine the quality of life related to health during the health emergency because of the COVID-19 pandemic, in continuing hypertensive patients attending a health center in Los Olivos, 2022. Materials and methods: This is a quantitative approach study with a descriptive/cross-sectional design. There were 149 continuing hypertensive participants attending a health facility in Los Olivos. The technique used for this research was the survey and the data collection instrument was the SF-36 questionnaire, which consists of 36 items and 9 dimensions. Results: Regarding quality of life, the high level predominated with 45.6% (n=68), followed by the very high level with 34.9% (n=52), the low level with 10.7% (n= 16) and the average level with 8.7% (n=13). According to its dimensions, the very high level predominated in physical functioning with 52.3% (n=78), in physical role, the very high level predominated with 74.5% (n=111), in bodily pain, the very high level predominated with 76.5% (n=114), in overall health, the average level predominated with 60.4% (n=90), in energy/fatigue, the high level predominated with 43.6% (n= 65), in social function, the high level predominated with 40.9% (n=61), in emotional function, the high level predominated with 58.4% (n=87), in emotional well-being, the high level predominated with 65.8% (n=98) and the high level predominated in change of health with 56.4% (n=84). Conclusions: Regarding the quality of life related to health in hypertensive patients, the high level prevailed, followed by the very high, low and average level. Regarding the dimensions, most predominated between high and very high, with the exception of general health, where the average level predominated.
