Peru is one of the Latin American countries that presents a low collection of Property Tax, therefore, said collection turns out to be insufficient, generating concern in the Municipal Governments, since, most of the municipalities, show a high rate of noncompliance. in the payment of Property Tax, which is aggravated by the poor tax culture in the country, one of the districts with a high rate of non-compliance in the payment of said tax, occupying fourth place with 45%, is Carabayllo, in this sense, the study had as its main objective to determine the relationship between the tax culture and the payment of the Property Tax of the taxpayers of the district of Carabayllo, in the year 2021. The methodology used was the quantitative approach and it was a correlational study, for which the survey technique was applied, whose instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. As a main result, it was obtained that there is a relationship between the tax culture of the owners of the Carabayllo properties and the payment of the Property Tax, since the significance value of 0.000 reached is less than 0.05, being a considerable positive relationship, since which, obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.642. Therefore, it is concluded that the tax culture and the payment of Property Tax are positively related, that is the, higher the level of tax culture of the taxpayers surveyed, the greater the compliance with the payment of their Property Tax.
