Starting from the health emergency that is being experienced worldwide, challenges were generated in education, changing the face-to-face mode to virtual, seeking solutions to this new teaching modality. Thus, the decision was made to apply the use of the flipped classroom. It is a methodology that allows the integration of various teaching resources so that the student achieves meaningful learning. The teacher is the mediator of teaching and the student takes center stage. The present study aims to describe how the flipped classroom is used to teach addition and subtraction in first grade primary school children from a private educational institution in Lima Norte (Peru). The study with a qualitative approach, the design is of systematization of experiences, for the application of this study, 5 learning sessions were taken as a basis only in the area of mathematics (arithmetic, geometry and algebra). Likewise, during the sessions, the information was collected from what was evidenced in the teaching with a field diary, interactive cards and online evaluations to subsequently analyze the data. At the end, the results were obtained that the use of the flipped classroom allows the student to build their own, solving both addition and subtraction problems, using various didactic resources. own learning and to be able to generate constructive critical thinking, the students completed progressive achievements (beginning, process and expected) in their learning by solving mathematical problems using the flipped classroom. In addition, it was identified that this teaching methodology allows the teacher to use various didactic resources in their teaching practice where they make the most of information and communication technologies.
