The objective of this research is to determine the relationship that exists between the dimensions of the organizational environment and engagement; in a sample of 124 employees, from a Peruvian agri-food industry. This research is empirical, with an associative strategy with a simple correlational design. The organizational environment was evaluated with the Subjective Work Environment Organizational Climate Scale (ECALS) and the engagement variable with the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES – 17). The results of the study show that the dimensions vigor, dedication and absorption (UWES), present a moderate to large effect size with the dimension organizational trust, social support, remuneration and job satisfaction (ECALS), showing a significant, positive and of moderate magnitude. Except for the job tension dimension (ECALS), which has a null effect size with respect to the UWES dimensions. That is, in the population of agribusiness collaborators, the greater the engagement, the greater the organizational climate.
