The pandemic generated a great change in people's lifestyles worldwide, social networks became more popular and their use had a significant impact on the purchasing decision; since it was the only means of communication that restricted physical contact to the maximum. The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between social networks and consumer behavior in children's clothing in the district of San Miguel, during the years 2020 to 2022. The study is applied at a correlational level with a non-experimental and transversal design. , the type of sampling is non-probabilistic, the technique used was the survey and it was applied to a sample of 105 mothers with children from 0 to 7 years old, with the use of the questionnaire with five-level responses on the Likert scale. The instrument was designed and validated using the expert judgment technique and in its test it reached a high level of reliability of 0.948 in Cronbach's Alpha. The result of the relationship between both variables was a moderate positive correlation with the Spearman coefficient of 0.561. It is concluded that, among the social networks investigated such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp, they are tools that the majority of people use, but Facebook is the social network par excellence that is used the most by the mothers in this study.
