Resumen: La presente investigación titulada “La importancia de las habilidades blandas en el liderazgo”, tiene como objetivo demostrar que para poder ser un buen líder y dirigir a un determinado grupo de personas, las habilidades blandas serán necesarias desarrollarlas y aplicarlas en el ejercicio de funciones.
Debido a la gran coyuntura en todo el mundo; el internet, las computadoras, los teléfonos inteligentes y las videoconferencias han revolucionado la manera en que trabajamos día a día, sobre todo después del confinamiento que vivimos a nivel mundial; producto de la pandemia Covid 19; en donde las empresas y sus colaboradores tuvieron que improvisar para lograr mantenerse a flote, fue un caso excepcional, largo y sin precedentes.
Debido a ello, los líderes de estas organizaciones debieron sobreponerse y tratar de adaptarse a la situación que se estaba atravesando, para poder dirigir a su equipo a través del trabajo remoto; que por mucho tiempo fue la opción de muchas empresas para no cerrar operaciones completamente. Esta fue una salida casi inmediata para todo el personal administrativo que es aquel que se encarga de planear, organizar, dirigir y controlar todas las operaciones de campo de acuerdo al rubro de cada empresa.
Para ello los líderes tuvieron que explotar sus mejores habilidades blandas para poder desarrollarse en una situación tan inusual y riesgosa para la salud de todo el mundo; entre una de las más necesarias fueron: resiliencia, adaptación a los cambios, empatía.
No dejando de mencionar las propias habilidades blandas que todo líder debe poseer como lo son: saber delegar, capacidad de coordinación y colaboración, planificación estratégica, habilidad comunicativa, empatía, motivación e inspiración, valor, compromiso, resolución de problemas, resiliencia, adaptación rápida a los cambios.
Los altos directivos tomaron más en cuenta que estas habilidades fueron las grandes aliadas de los líderes para poder sobrellevar la difícil situación que se atravesó en medio de la crisis sanitaria.
El presente trabajo está desarrollado con el siguiente esquema:
Resumen, Abstract, Introducción, Antecedentes Nacionales, Antecedentes Internacionales, bases teóricas, Conclusiones, Aporte de la investigación, Recomendaciones y Referencias Bibliográficas.
De acuerdo a lo investigado se ha podido demostrar que las habilidades blandas serán parte esencial para llevar a cabo un buen liderazgo de manera efectiva y eficaz, debido a que estas habilidades socioemocionales serán capaces de alinear los objetivos individuales con los corporativos.
Así mismo se recomienda que los altos directivos tendrían que implantar capacitaciones de habilidades blandas para su personal, con el objetivo de descubrir nuevos potenciales de talento humano entre sus filas.
The present investigation entitled “The importance of soft skills in leadership“, aims to demonstrate that in order to be a good leader and direct a certain group of people, soft skills will be necessary to develop and apply them in the exercise of functions. Due to the great situation in the whole world; the internet, computers, smartphones and videoconferences have revolutionized the way we work every day, especially after the confinement we are experiencing worldwide; product of the Covid 19 pandemic; where companies and their collaborators had to improvise to stay afloat, it was an exceptional, long and unprecedented case. Due to this, the leaders of these organizations had to overcome and try to adapt to the situation that was going through, in order to direct their team through remote work; that for a long time was the option of many companies not to close operations completely. This was an almost immediate release for all administrative staff; which is the one in charge of planning, organizing, directing and controlling all field operations according to the category of each company. For this, the leaders had to exploit their best soft skills to be able to develop in such an unusual and risky situation for the health of the whole world; among one of the most necessary were: resilience, adaptation to changes, empathy. Not forgetting to mention the soft skills that every leader must possess as they are; Knowing how to delegate, Ability to coordinate and collaborate; Strategic planning, Communication skills, empathy, motivation and inspiration, Courage, Commitment, Problem solving, Resilience, Quick adaptation to changes. Senior managers took more into account that these skills were the great allies of the leaders to be able to cope with the difficult situation we are going through in the midst of the health crisis. The present work is developed with the following scheme: Abstract, Abstract, Introduction, National Background, International Background, theoretical bases, Conclusions, Research Contribution, Recommendations and Bibliographic References. According to what was investigated, it has been possible to demonstrate that soft skills will be an essential part of carrying out good leadership effectively and efficiently, because these socio-emotional skills will be able to align individual objectives with corporate ones. Likewise, it is recommended that senior managers should implement soft skills training for their staff, with the aim of discovering new potential human talent among their ranks
