The objective of this research was to design a program of graphic-plastic strategies to promote creativity in five-year-old children of the educational institution, through the “Graphic plastic footprints program“, as specific objectives it was proposed: a) Measure the level of creativity in five-year-old children from a Chiclayo educational institution. b) Determine the characteristics of graphic-plastic strategies to promote creativity in five-year-old children of an educational institution in Chiclayo, which promotes artistic expression as a means of developing creative thinking, based on the constructivist paradigm, the approach by competencies, communicative, intercultural and interdisciplinary. The research followed a quantitative approach, at a propositional descriptive level with a sample of 30 students, the observation technique and the questionnaire instrument validated based on Aiken's V and Alfa/Kr20 were used. The results show that there is a deficiency in the students' creativity. It is concluded that the graphic-plastic footprints program represents an option to improve creativity in children at the initial level of the educational institution.
