The loss of teeth can occur for various reasons, such as caries, trauma, orthodontic reasons and periodontal disease, when patients lost their teeth not only present but it leads to loss of function and aesthetics. The selection of teeth partially or totally edentulous patients is a primary concern in the aesthetic restoration and oral rehabilitation, especially in the upper central incisors, because they are the most salient teeth in the upper dental arch. This study aimed to determine the relationship of coronary shape of the upper central incisor with facial contours. It was conducted on a sample of 61 students of both sexes who attend the fourth and fifth secondary EI Juan Bautista Valdivia Scarsi Samegua - Moquegua 2015. It was developed in stages: awareness of the study population, choice of population on the basis of established criteria, and then the procedure of photographic record of the patient's face and held upper teeth, using a Nikon D3200 Professional camera 24 Mp 1080p Plus VR 18-55mm +5. For the analysis of the photographic records proceeded to fill the sheet of data collection, a PC was used and photographs are edited with Adobe Photoshop CC version 14.0, the shape of the facial contour was obtained by the visual method and coronary central incisor shape through a tracking scheme, then the results were subjected to statistical analysis. Coronary shape of the upper central incisor with facial contour of students surveyed found significant association was associated with a value of p = 0.000.
