Currently, educational institutions are immersed in a transformation process, leading to the opening of opportunities in different educational modalities. This dynamic change demands the presence of teachers with innovative and adaptable profiles, capable of responding effectively to the demands of the educational environment. Law No. 30220, promulgated by legislative decree, establishes fundamental guidelines for educational development, focusing on teaching updating. This legal framework highlights the importance of teachers being properly prepared to face academic challenges, guaranteeing quality teaching; abiding by the provisions required by the university law that generates teaching rotation; Far from being an obstacle, it is an opportunity to renew and diversify pedagogical ideas and approaches. With the renewal, the aim is to comply with legal standards; strengthen the quality of educational service; value teacher training in the development of practical skills and abilities to adapt to an educational environment in constant transformation. In this sense, teachers are willing to participate in training and continuous updating programs, ensuring suitability to carry out their work efficiently. However, high teacher turnover harms the teaching-learning process at a higher level; New teachers are unaware of the methodology applied and therefore increase significant additional costs for methodological training. In the area of General Studies at the Autonomous University of Peru, teaching turnover is 33.3%, being higher than 20% of the average turnover in the different faculties. It is for this reason that research is important to know the motivations of teachers.
