The present study, entitled “Implications in the virtual hearings of food omission crimes, Matucana, 2021“, had as its main objective to analyze whether the implications of virtual hearings have an impact on immediate trial processes of omission of family assistance (article 149 of the Penal Code), studying effective jurisdictional protection, the principle of immediacy and, lastly, the right of defence. Therefore, it was specified in the content of the work that virtual hearings are questionable because they can violate the right to effective jurisdictional protection, the principle of immediacy and the right of defense. Since, in our country, the lack of adequate technological devices is mostly manifested, as well as the ignorance of these by the aggrieved party, the legal representative and/or the accused. In conclusion, it is relevant to bear in mind that, however, the Matucana courts do ensure that they maintain a clear and sharp connection to the virtual hearings in the food omission processes, thus guaranteeing the protection of the principles mentioned above.
