Learning has been transformed with the appearance of the internet and the development of ICT. Since the COVID19 pandemic, the integration of the use of social networks as a technological means in e-learning at all levels, including university, has been further promoted. In graphic design higher education, the exercise in class involves developing a creative process based on formal and semiological knowledge, with teacher-student and peer comments, which requires personalized and group exchange and accompaniment. The research has as objectives: to analyze how the social network Facebook intervenes in the creation process of the students of the graphic design workshop course of the V cycle of communications careers of a private university in Lima, to recognize the stages of the creative process in design graph, identify the facilities for interaction and describe the interaction between peers and teacher-student that the social network can facilitate. The methodological approach is qualitative at a descriptive level, where the informants correspond to a representative sample of students from three academic semesters, using the case method. The semi-structured interview with its corresponding guide was extracted as a technique and instrument for collecting information. The data collected has been tabulated based on the coding technique for its subsequent analysis and confrontation with the theory. In this way, it is concluded that there are coincidences but also discussion about new paths for integration and educational innovation with the use of social networks such as Facebook or others known by students.
