El proceso de dirección y producción en la realización del cortometraje Canción Lejana

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación busca analizar la manera en que las influencias audiovisuales, la narrativa y las relaciones familiares lograron culminar en la realización del cortometraje Canción Lejana, el cual fue coproducido con la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú en el año 2023. Las principales motivaciones del cortometraje son la muestra de la falta de comunicación en relaciones íntimas como las familiares; asimismo, se planteó ahondar en el poder de la imaginación como escape y consuelo de la realidad. Este cortometraje se basa en el proceso de acercamiento de Silvana con su madre. Ella tiene que irse del país para seguir sus sueños pero antes no quiere irse sin tener un acercamiento sincero con su madre, quienes son distantes. El recorrido del personaje se basa en Silvana buscando este momento, pero su madre no comprende su situación y se pone distante. Finalmente, como equipo, consideramos que este proyecto conversa con toda persona que alguna vez se ha sentido como un desconocido en su casa; pero, por otro lado, buscamos crear este espacio de pensamiento para dar a entender que las búsquedas de espacios en común entre familiares es un reto que vale la pena tomar

The present research work looks for to analyze the way in which audiovisual influences, narrative and family relations managed to culminate in the making of the short film Canción Lejana, which was co-produced with the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru in 2023. The main motivations of the short film are the lack of communication in intimate relationships such as relatives; likewise, it was proposed to delve into the power of imagination as escape and comfort of reality. This short film is based on Silvana’s approach to her mother. She has to leave the country to follow her dreams but first she doesn’t want to leave without having a sincere approach to her mother, who is distant. The character’s journey is based on Silvana seeking this moment, but her mother does not understand her situation and becomes distant. Finally, as a team, we consider this project to be a conversation with anyone who has ever felt like a stranger at home; but, on the other hand, we seek to create this space of thought to imply that the search of common spaces among relatives is a challenge that is worth taking
